SD Tech Lead
Location: Wrocław
General description:
·       Work with project managers, solution and enterprise architects and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of technical tasks;
·       Assure technical oversight and leadership;
·       Assure clear communication and escalation of issues to management when required.
Technical Solution Delivery:
·       Infrastructure estimation on the hardware, operating systems, licensing & middleware layers;
·       Identifies technical project requirements for successful delivery of a project;
·       Manages the preparation of technical architecture for the project delivery;
·       Plans and manages work of Service Delivery team to ensure delivery of the project;
·       Sources services and assets for the project;
·       Coordinates Service Delivery team to ensure delivery of planned infrastructure;
·       Communicates with project team and stakeholders on the project progress and issues in the context of technical infrastructure delivery;
·       Consult with employees, matching individual/department needs to technologies that enable and improve efficiency;
·       Oversee and assist with investigations of new issues to provide sufficient information in order to speed up problem resolution.
Vendor Management
·       Managing technical resources/contractors that support technical implementation of the project.
Project Management
·       Eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget;
·       Work with IT and vendors to ensure projects and services are staffed and resources appropriately.
Knowledge of:
·       Core data center infrastructure;
·       Virtualization and Cloud technologies;
·       Data center migration disciplines;
·       Testing methodologies;
·       High availability designs;
·       Disaster recovery processes;
·       IP networking;
·       Storage and storage replication technologies;
·       DNS and proxy technologies;
·       Performance and health monitoring technologies;
·       Access control;
·       Various technologies used in three-tier application architectures;
·       SDLC discipline;
·       Experienced with leading small projects and being an active member of medium and big projects’ team;
·       Understanding of Service Management fundamentals including Change Management, Problem Management and Service Introduction;
·       Understanding of non-functional requirements and experience of their importance within IT projects.
Soft skills:
·       Strong communication skills in order to efficiently manage relations with team members, stakeholders of the project within the organization and with vendors;
·       Strong organizational skills;
·       Ability to influence and motivate people without line management responsibility;
·       Decision making and problem solving skills – particularly a creative approach to problem solving.
