ETL Application Developer
Location: Wrocław
Opera / DAL is a sub ledger and P&L generating system for many types of Structured / Non-Structured, Single /Multi Legged products and its feeds data to Ledger, Regulatory and P&L reporting systems. System receives over 200 feeds from many upstream systems and processes over 40 Million records every day and across 3 regions. It also supports adjustment functionality using which product controls post Journals to fix upstream DQ issues. CIT aims to run this production like batch in a test environment with a scaled down sample record set and cover all use cases.
·       In lead developer capacity contributing towards the successful delivery of key functional & technical roadmap projects;
·       Working very closely with delivery leads to understand & challenge requirements and designing solutions to satisfy functional requirements and advance the application technical architecture;
·       Providing effective project execution support and Production L3 support, working effectively with external teams (PMBA, GTS, Production Services);
·       Developing component SME capability and ensuring knowledge is transferred effectively across the team.
Essential skills:
·       5 years of experience as Software Developer;
·       Extensive knowledge of Informatica;
·       Experience in running batches via job scheduler (e.g. Control M);
·       Deep expertise in writing PL SQLs in Oracle and ETL tools;
·       Strong knowledge of UNIX, shell and perl scripts;
·       University degree level (preferably in IT or Finance);
Additional Experience (Good to Have):
·       Good knowledge of DB modeling;
·       Knowledge of JIRA/Quality Center;
·       Strong analytical problem solving skills and Decision-Making;
·       Experience with Agile development methodology;
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
·       Problem solver and technology enthusiast;
·       Creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness;
·       Willingness to learn, and to innovate in a rapidly changing market;
·       Mentoring experience, especially with developers in different locations;
·       Understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and ideally experience working in an IT environment with change control procedures.
