Project Manager (Credit Approvals)
Location: Wrocław
CA (Credit Approvals) is the IB's global critical application for managing counterparty internal ratings & limits and breaches, without which the Bank would not be able to set and subsequently monitor against appropriate credit limits.  The application has over 2,500 users globally and includes additional functions to manage trade approvals, excess approvals and pre-trade approval requests.
The team is currently working on several large projects, including refactoring core modules of the application, introducing new regional approvals (CH, US) and delivering other significant regulatory requirements.
·       Encourage clear understanding of client objectives and priorities and the alignment of IT deliveries against these requirements within the project team;
·       Proactively reach out to clients and partners to build trusted advisor relationship and achieve business objectives;
·       Plan, coordinate and ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of all necessary software deliverables;
·       Resource planning & budgets/actuals tracking;
·       Submission of project opening documents and project management plans;
·       Own and manage project deliverables – versioning and approvals documented where required for audit purposes;
·       Management of risks, issues and dependencies within projects;
·       Facilitate communication between a number of teams including Business Change Management, Analysts, Designers and Development Managers;
·       Progress tracking of tasks and milestones within the projects and dependencies external to the projects;
·       Day-to-day hands-on management of one or more projects;
·       Deal with unplanned situations, implement responses, and propose changes to minimize impact;
·       Management of change requests within the projects;
·       Participation in project review boards and project lifecycle quality reviews;
·       To collaborate with other projects in order to minimize re-work;
·       Ensure project compliance with bank’s processes and standards, e.g.:
o   Complies with bank’s Solution Delivery Framework;
o   Global IT Solution Delivery policies;
o   SOX;
o   Applicable CS Data Management and Process policies;
o   Issues raised by internal or external audits.;
·       Test Coordination:
o   Track and report status of testing;
·       Communication:
o   Maintenance of weekly/monthly project status materials and management “decks”;
o   Maintenance and tracking of budget figures in OnePPM;
o   Regular communication with global development teams.
·       Educated to degree standard, preferably in a numerate subject OR Relevant IT Experience;
·       Project Management experience;
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
·       Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to project delivery;
·       Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
·       Good experience in process engineering and design;
·       Excellent organization skills;
·       Strong attention to detail;
·       High degree of self-motivation;
·       In depth knowledge of Microsoft Project;
·       Computer Science or Software Engineering BSc 2ii or higher;
·       Full life cycle experience, using a structured development methodology;
·       Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMI or Agile;
·       Facilitation skills;
·       Financial Product knowledge;
·       Experience of working in an Investment Bank;
·       Experience in managing complex projects;
·       Experience of Structured Testing;
·       Business analysis skills - working closely with clients to understand requirements.
