Delivery Coordinator
Location: Wrocław
The role provides the opportunity to participate in the development of a new strategic CRM reporting solution over the next 24 months. This new application will make use of the latest web technologies to satisfy the high expectations in terms of responsiveness and volume of data.
The long term strategic solution will be to integrate the application into the Investment Bank’s Global Credit Risk systems, consisting already of a number of high-profile global web applications, with a user base running to several thousands. Once the application is in production, in addition to the continuing development work, the candidate will be expected to assist with support queries/investigations.
The team is presently split across London and Poland, however involves working with people globally.
Delivery Coordinator will support the delivery management of concurrent projects for the Credit Approvals and Credit Desktop applications. The role is primarily to work with an experienced Project Manager and Release Management team to ensure production releases and test environments are prepared quickly and on schedule.
·       Being responsible for configuring and maintaining environments and servers (Linux, Jetty, Teamcity);
·       Developing and maintaining build, release and other automation scripts;
·       Driving and coordinating defect triage management during QA, Acceptance Testing and Regression testing phases;
·       Creating and maintaining Teamcity builds for multiple releases and environments (Oracle, Java/Maven, Node/Npm);
·       Being responsible for SVN maintenance and communication, merging and branching;
·       Coordinating the packaging of application and/or database fixes to minimize application downtime during testing intra-phase deployments;
·       Working with infrastructure teams on resolving issues and adding new capabilities;
·       Planning, coordinating and ensuring the timely delivery of new releases, working with the Release Management, DBA and other IT Service teams;
·       Coordinating environment allocations across multiple project streams for GCCO/PEX applications;
·       Daily status reporting of progress tracking for current preparation tasks and defect status to Project Managers;
·       Dealing with unplanned situations, implementing responses, and proposing changes to minimize impact;
·       Ensuring project compliance with processes and standards, e.g. ALM, JIRA, Data Management, SNOW RFC.
·       BSc Computer Science/Software Engineering or Relevant IT Experience;
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
·       Broad technical background and a high degree of self-motivation;
·       Strong sense of ownership;
·       Hands-on experience with a variety automation tools (preferred Java and Node);
·       Strong experience with a variety build & deployment tools (preferred Java and Node);
·       Experience deploying and supporting Java applications in testing and production environments;
·       Strong experience with CVS tools, preferably SVN;
·       Experience with Linux including shell scripts;
·       Basic experience with SQL (CRUD);
·       Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to delivery;
·       Excellent organization skills;
·       Strong attention to detail.
·       Full life cycle experience, using a structured development methodology;
·       Experience of working in a corporate environment;
·       Experience in coordinating environments and their preparation;
·       Experience of Structured Testing.
